Session Details
New Ambassador Overview
We'll review spring assignments and responsibilities, and give guidelines and advice on working in the classroom.
WWT Overview
We'll present the main features of WWT that Ambassadors should be aware of when giving demos at schools, community events like star parties, and other public presentations.
Introductory Tour-Making Tutorial
We'll practice tour-making basics, including:
- How to manipulate slides
- How to insert images, text, and shapes
- How to animate images, text, and shapes
- How to include narration and music
Advanced Tour-Making Techniques
We'll go beyond the basics and discuss:
- Things to consider when telling your story
- How to import your own images and use them in Tours
- How to plot your own data points on the sky in 2-D and 3-D using the Layer Manager
- How to link slides to create an interactive path through your Tour
