(Curtis Wong/Jonathan Fay)</p><p><strong>WWT in Education</strong>  Hear about the WorldWide Telescope Ambassadors program, where volunteers use WWT in schools and public venues to teach Science, and find out how you can get involved.   (Alyssa Goodman/Patricia Udomprasert)</p><p><strong>WWT for “Seamless” Astronomy Research </strong>Demonstration of the API mode of WWT, which provides a plug-in interactive data viewer within webpages and more.  (August Muench/Goodman/Fay)</p><p><strong>Interoperability </strong> Demonstration of SAMP, which allows programs like ds9, Aladin, TOPCAT, and WWT all to run while interacting with each other. (Muench/Fay)</p><p><strong>Tour-Authoring Basics</strong> Learn how to create interactive presentations for your research, teaching, and public outreach.  Topics include how to manipulate slides; insert images, text, and shapes; and add music and narration.  (Wong/Goodman/Udomprasert)</p><p><strong>Advanced Tour-Authoring Techniques </strong> Take your Tours to the next level with more advanced techniques like importing your own data, animating objects, and linking slides.  We’ll also discuss elements of good story-telling. (Wong/Goodman)</p><p class="rtecenter"><em><span>A limited number of computers will be available for attendee use.  </span></em></p><p><br>For a fuller hands-on experience, please bring your own laptop with WWT and/or Silverlight installed   The software can be found at <a href="http://worldwidetelescope.org/">worldwidetelescope.org</a>, and help with installation will be available at the session.  The WWT Web Client runs in any modern browser running Silverlight (PC or Mac).   Only tour-oriented sessions will require the full (free) Windows-based WWT program, running on a Windows PC or a Mac with Windows.</p><p>See this <a href="http://projects.iq.harvard.edu/files/AAS_workshop_schedule_white.pdf">handout</a> for a formatted printable version of this schedule.</p>
